Canucks’ Gudbranson Faces Hearing For Hit On Vatrano

It’s not even been a month since NHL hockey started, but the league’s Department of Player Safety is already busy. Last night, in the Vancouver Canucks’ 6-3 loss to the Boston Bruins; Canucks’ D-man Erik Gudbranson charged into Frank Vatrano. The young Bruin was hit from behind and smashed into the boards. Vatrano was then taken off the ice. Five & a game for Gudbranson. The Vancouver Canucks are being served chilled this year. With nine straight losses, their record now stands at an abysmal 4-8-1.
