Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby went into the boards head first in game six against the Washington Capitals. He labored getting back to the bench, yet, wasn’t taken out of the game. In fact he was back out on the ice a little while later. Further proving that the National Hockey League doesn’t care about their players safety enough. At the least, does as little as possible to protect them. NHL Wrong To Refuse Players Olympics

Everyone’s favourite villain, Gary Bettman, has drawn a line in the sand again. The NHL players will not be going to 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang. For the last few weeks, this debate has been on the cards. Despite the Olympics being about the world’s elite, it’s best won’t be attending. The NHLPA has condemned the decision stating they “adamantly disagree with the NHL’s shortsighted decision.” Embed from Getty Images Every four years the Olympic break is one that has caused frustration to team owners. First of all, does anyone watch All-Star weekend? Yes, fans cram into arena’s to celebrate the skill of the league’s finest. However, does anyone really love it anymore?
