#FireBenning is trending once again, but when hasn’t it been for Vancouver fans? It’s been a bad week for hockey in B.C. and last night’s 5-1 loss in Toronto confirmed the underlying issues. The Hart Trophy is awarded annually to the player best judged to have been his team’s Most Valuable Player during the regular season. Three players are nominated, one wins. Grabner-ing the Headlines

Michael Grabner was underwhelming last season in Toronto. Although a decent penalty kill player, his low points total failed to endear him. Acquired as a free agent by the New York Rangers, Grabner has found his form again. Currently the Rangers third top scorer with 16 points, the Austrian is turning heads in the Big Apple.
