The 4th Line Hockey Podcast #258 – The Would You Rather

Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray (as if you needed to be reminded of that) helped someone break up over Cameo. Which led us down the rabbit hole of, which NHL’ers can we get to say things? (And also inspires a charitable effort from Nick.)

The 4th Line Hockey Podcast #258 – Babcock Fired, Three Suspensions

There was also a LOT of big news in the league this week.

Mike Babcock was fired by the Toronto Maple Leafs. What can be expected from the Sheldon Keefe Leafs? Where will Babcock end up? Will of the news of locker room treatment impact his future?

A collection of suspensions were handed out this week (2 games for Alex Kerfoot, 3 games for Garnet Hathaway and 4 games for Robert Bortuzzo), which inspired a weird game of “Would You Rather?”

The NHLPA has filed a grievance on behalf of Dustin Byfuglien. But do they have a case?

The Best and Worst of the Week features….two bests! One with Robin Lehner and the second with TJ Brodie.

Lastly, a Hi Sticking winner is crowned and the Pavel Bure Must Watch Games of the Week are selected!

All this and more on episode 258 of the 4th Line Hockey Podcast!

The 4th Line Podcast is a weekly hockey podcast hosted by Carl Landra and Nick Seguin. Every week they share their unique and fun take on what is happening in the world of hockey. While they don’t take themselves too seriously, they have a typical no 4th line attitude: what they lack in finesse, they make for in being willing to go to the corners and work hard to get the job done.

Who are Carl and Nick? Carl comes from Calgary, AB. His facial hair of choice is a mustache. His team of choice is the Colorado Avalanche and his smoked meat of choice is brisket.  Nick comes from Toronto, ON. His facial hair of choice is a light beard. His team of choice is the Detroit Red Wings and his smoked meat of choice is ribs.
