The 4th Line Hockey Podcast #361 – The New Years Resolutions

We are back and ready to look back at everything that happened during the holiday break!

The NHL has a real problem with how they’re handling COVID. And that is that they have cancelled almost every game in the second half of December. Their solution: Skip the Olympics. And that leads us to have positive things to say about Brad Marchand. 2022 is starting off weird!

Not only has the NHL had to cancel games, but the games that are happening aren’t exactly the same quality that we’re used to. What can be expected for the rest of 2022?

Even the World Junior hockey championship was cancelled! But don’t worry, we have a solution to fix all of it!

But, there was good news over the break, as a fan in Seattle showed us all how we should interact with teams when at the game.

With it being that time of the year, we look around the NHL and see what some New Years Resolutions should be for various teams and even us as fans.

Lastly, we pick the Pavel Bure Must Watch Games of the Week and restart a new type of Hi Sticking. Pick the score of each game over on our Twitter.

All this and more on episode 361 of the 4th Line Hockey Podcast!

While they don’t take themselves too seriously, they have a typical 4th line attitude: what they lack in finesse, they make up for in being willing to go to the corners and work hard to get the job done.

Who are Carl and Nick? Carl comes from Calgary, AB. His facial hair of choice is a mustache. His team of choice is the Colorado Avalanche and his smoked meat of choice is brisket.  Nick comes from Toronto, ON. His facial hair of choice is a light beard.
